Just a Little Share

​  I haven't posted in awhile.  I really haven't had the time, or the inspiration for that matter.  Teaching in the time of Covid is tough.  Sometimes just getting through the day and I am exhausted, both mentally and physically.  There was one funny story from class the other day I wanted to share.  Here goes:

We were studying the geography of the Arabian Peninsula in seventh grade Social Studies and using google my map.  Check out mymaps.google.com.  I can blog more about that later.  Anyway we were exploring the Arabian Peninsula when all of a sudden I hear, "How did I get to West Virginia??"  to which I replied, " You must have taken the country road."  I then proceeded to sing Country Roads  by John Denver.  I got a lot of confused looks from the class.  It made me chuckle though.  It is, after all, about my entertainment.
