Last spring I visited a school that I taught fourth grade at from the fall of 1998 to the Spring of 2008 when the school closed its doors. The reason for my visitation was a program called Doors Open Lowell. You can learn more about it in the previous post.
For those that are interested I wanted to update the post. I felt compelled to do this because earlier this week I read a Washington Post article talking about amazing chalkboard findings at a school being renovated and I remembered touring the school last spring and finding amazing chalk board finds at the Varnum. Through the magic of Social Media, I learned of the dedication of the and re-opening of the school happened this week.
